And here's a short interview with Sandra!
Hey! It’s lovely to have you on the blog today! So, shall we begin?
Thanks for having me, Victoria.
For starters, why not tell us a little about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?
I don’t know how to swim. I’ve had several people try to teach me over the course of my life, but I always end up sinking. Lol.
What made you want to become a writer?
I believe I was born a writer.
Do you have any hidden talents? *wink*
I can make people shut up (specifically my children) with just a glare.
What gives you inspiration for your book(s)?
I get inspiration from anywhere and everywhere. It can be a song, a photograph, a tv show (documentaries really spark my inspiration), or even news reports.
Are your characters based off real people, or did they all come entirely from your imagination?
They exist solely and entirely in my imagination.
Could you tell us a bit about your book and why it is a must-read?
It’s your basic fairytale—with a twist.
What do you love most about the writing process?
Conceiving the tale.
And of course, do you have a particular favorite character? I know an author will love most if not all of the characters he/she creates, but I’m sure there must be a favorite of yours! So who is it, and why?
Well, I am kind of partial toward Roxanne Simon from Crazy For You. Maybe it because of her psychological issues that I think she needs protecting more so than the rest.
Will you tell us a little about your plans for the future, and maybe other books that are in the works? (Ideas thought out, perhaps even a rough draft?)
I’m currently working on The Marriage Caper, the follow-up book to The Marriage Bargain. It features Andre and Tasha and hopefully it’ll be ready by Christmas.
And now, just some little random questions!
Favorite colour?
Red
Favorite place?
My office. Of course, if I ever get to Greece, I’m sure it’ll displace my office. Lol.
Favorite book?
It’s a toss-up between Sidney Sheldon’s The Other Side of Midnight and Isaac Asimov’s Nightfall.
Favorite genre? (and why, if you like)
I can’t say that I have a favorite genre. I read mainstream, romance, mysteries, suspense, thrillers, sci-fi and fantasy. The main thing for me is that I need to be drawn into the story quickly or I’ll lose interest and put the book down.
To end off, is there anything you would like to say to your readers?
Thanks for your support. It means a lot to me :).
Hmm, I think that should be about it for today! It was a pleasure to have you on the blog today! Wishing you all the best in your career! :D
Thanks! I had a fun time.
